You know that feeling you get when you walk into a new place and it's like everything is 10 times larger than it should be, and then people are much more intimidating than they actually are? Well that is the exact feeling I had when I walked into the Newspaper class for the first time.     There they were, all confident and mature, (they really weren’t) ready to tear me shreds.( Ha!  It was more like I tore them.) All of them knew who they were, and what they were doing. How in the world could I compete with that? Now I’m one of them, and I can tell you I have no clue what I’m doing, or who I am. But I do know one thing… I love The Lightning Bolt. It's been my home for three years and all my memories are in room A113. So you can be sure I’m going to leave it in good hands, and in as good of a condition as it can get.  I can’t wait for the new and modern look the newspaper is going to have with great photos, and I’m absolutely in love with the layout! Our staff is full of wonderful and bright people whom I adore, well maybe...on occasion. I hope you enjoy this issue as much as I have enjoyed making it, and can’t wait to see what’s next. With love always,
